The banks can give you travel insurance, so can the insurance companies. You can buy the travel insurance that will be on a per-trip basis; such insurance will adequately cover any issue that will arise from the point of departure to the time you return. There are certain travel insurance that you can buy which are specifically for risky countries you might want to travel to, or risky behavior you might want to engage in while you are away on such travels. The cost of travel insurance isn’t the same all the time.
