1) Pack For Your Cruise Wisely

July 31st, 2007

Cruise planning is the vital component in the steps you take to have a suitable cruise vacation.

Getting this right means that you can lie back and enjoy, safe in the knowledge that everything is in place for a perfect time.

Cruises usually go where it’s hot! The cruise lines are pretty savvy people and know, unless you are a bit of a masochist, that you’d like warmth by the ocean as you cruise.

That said, there are often cruises in the Northern Hemisphere that travel to cooler locations, like Alaska or the Baltic states, where warmth is not such an issue (on the contrary!), though reflected sunlight might still be.

As far as other cruise planning goes, you will need to consider what you might need for a prolonged spell away from the basics. There are no supermarkets on an ocean liner (though there are shops for most things you might need, it’s usually the one thing you forgot that you can’t get hold of!).

Apart from the weather, clothing needs additional consideration, especially when it comes to dining. Depending on the cruise, you might need a stack of different exotic frocks to show off. If you are a man it can often be the one tux, so don’t feel left out. Your partner will just have spent a bit more, that’s all!

Royal Caribbean - Way More Than A Hawaiian Cruise

June 24th, 2007

Having some of the very largest cruise ships in the world has given Royal Caribbean some of the finest leisure facilities possible onboard.

Royal Caribbean has been around since 1969 and currently operates 20 ships and is a 2005 Conde Nast Reader’s Travel Awards winner.

And
with some of the sharpest pricing you can find, be it on Hawaiian
cruises or anywhere in the world, this is cruising truly offering great
value with the most amazing facilities.

Describing themselves as ‘Way More Than a Cruise’,
Royal Caribbean’s cruises are more like a destination in themselves,
with enough to do to tempt you to stay onboard, despite the temptations
of the places you’ll visit.

For Hawaii, Royal
Caribbean currently sail from Ensenada in Mexico and Vancouver in
Canada, giving you a few days to chill out at sea, before these
beautiful Hawaiian islands appear on your horizon.

Did
I say ‘chill-out’? Well, you can of course, as well as testing all
those wonderful facilities onboard - and maybe yourself a little too!

In 1997, Royal Caribbean purchased Celebrity Cruises to build their portfolio for a more upmarket giving a total fleet of 25 ships and more than 40,000 berths.

If
it’s a cruise you’re looking for, for the first time - or the
twenty-first - it will be surprising if you can’t find something just
perfect for you at
Royal Caribbean International.
